ENERGY STORAGE

Modern pressurized storage systems are used for the intermediate storage of hydrogen and, if necessary, oxygen after electrolysis. These are constantly being improved by the continuous development of the materials used at the WTZ. In addition, a network between the WTZ Roßlau and several industrial and research partners will be established in the near future, whose know-how will contribute to researching further high-strength steels and their weldability.
The development of a low-cost storage variant is set as the primary goal at Verbund.
