I. Conference participation: purposes and legal bases for data processing

Description and scope of data processing

Before the start of the event, an online registration form and a PDF registration form are available on our website.
For the purpose of this event, we process your personal data only to the extent necessary. Your data will not be passed on to any third parties.
All data fields required for registration are marked as mandatory fields. Participation in the event is not possible without the processing of your data.
The following data is required for registration and will be transmitted and stored: title, first name, surname, post box/street, postal code, city
Additionally, when using the online registration form: e-mail address.

Prior to the sending process, the user’s consent to data processing will be obtained in the online registration form and reference is made to this data protection declaration.
After the conference, all participants whose e-mail address is available will receive a one-time e-mail with a link to an online survey.

Personal data is processed for the purpose of hosting the conference, e.g. for sending conference documents and invoices.Your data will not be transferred to any third countries or international organisations. There will be no automated decision making including profiling according to art. 22 para. 1 and 4 GDPR.

If necessary, we process your data beyond the actual fulfilment of the contract to protect our legitimate interests, for example for the assertion of legal claims.

II. Storage duration

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. If you have given us your consent to process your data to send you information for further conferences, we will store your data for 12 months.

III. Contact form and e-mail contact

There is a contact form available on our website, which can be used for electronic contacting. If a user makes use of this possibility, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted and stored. These data include: name, e-mail address and your message text. Before the data is processed, the consent of the user is obtained prior to the sending process and reference is made to this data protection declaration.

Alternatively, it is possible to contact the user via the e-mail address provided. In this case, the personal data of the user transmitted with the e-mail will be stored. In this context, the data will not be passed on to any third parties. The data will be used exclusively for the processing of the communication.

If the user has given their consent, the legal basis for the processing of the data is art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The legal basis for the processing of data transmitted in the course of sending an e-mail is art. 6 para. 1 lit. e GDPR.

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. For the personal data from the input mask of the contact form and those sent by e-mail, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The communication is terminated when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the relevant facts have been conclusively clarified.

V. Photographs taken during the event

By participating in the event, you agree to the use of images on our website to report on the event. Names will not be mentioned in connection with the photos. The photos will not be passed on to any third parties.Overview photos and group photos will be taken showing the events in the lecture rooms and in the foyer. If you do not agree, please contact our staff on site.

V. Use of this website

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. 5. Analytics and advertising

Google reCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data entered on our website (such as on a contact form) has been entered by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses take place completely in the background. Website visitors are not advised that such an analysis is taking place.

Data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its site from abusive automated crawling and spam.

Google Web Fonts
