Today, something from the category: “It’s working!”—24/7, no less. 💪
Enrico Rothe, Carsten Tietze, Anja L., and I were all there today to represent our partner, Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG, at the #MeOHmare project meeting in Friedrichshafen.
Suffice it to say: The #MeOHmare projectis really picking up steam now.
Or rather: It’s running at high pressure. Methanol high pressure, to be exact. 😅
Where do we stand right now?
✔️ The first endurance tests of our methanol injection components on the test bench at the WTZ were successful—and they ran around the clock.
✔️ Our high-pressure pump? It passed the functional tests with flying colors. Now it’s time to install it on the test bench.
✔️ And what about the material testing? After numerous test series, we’ve finally found the right materials—so bring on the salty sea air and harsh conditions.
💬 And as always: It wasn’t just technically exciting, but also a really great experience on a personal level.
