WTZ Roßlau is an independent, private, innovative medium-sized research company specializing in scientific and technical tasks in the field of energy conversion.

The forerunner of today’s WTZ Roßlau was the Roßlau Diesel Engine Design and Development Office founded in 1950 by former Junkers engineers.
Today, WTZ Roßlau is divided into the non-profit research institution WTZ gGmbH and the subsidiary WTZ Motorentechnik GmbH.
