It’s Friday, 3:37 p.m.
We’re at the EnergyStation.
The final checks are underway. Then: Go.
Our #CHP is running.
And for the first time, electricity is flowing—continuously, regardless of the weather, and reliably.
A technical milestone? Yes, absolutely.
But for us, it was above all an emotional moment.
Because what’s just getting started here is more than just a collection of components.
It’s the beginning of something we’ve long believed in, tinkered with, and worked on:
#Energy4CHP – our contribution to the future of energy.
We’re connecting things that have often operated in isolation until now:
👉 Combined heat and power plant,
👉 Electrolysis,
👉 LOHC technology,
👉 Photovoltaics,
👉 Hydrogen storage,
👉 Ground-source heat storage
…into a smart, integrated system.
The goal:
Maximum efficiency. Minimal dependence. A sustainable energy supply for energy-intensive companies.
The entire system is controlled by an AI-powered thermal management system that not only reacts but also anticipates needs and directs heat to where it’s needed.
Now we’ll have to wait and see if the tests all go well.
I am truly grateful for this moment:
It’s not something to be taken for granted that one is even allowed to think such systems through to their conclusion.
Or that one can find a team that brings so much expertise, perseverance, and innovative spirit to the table.
Thank you to all our colleagues, partners, and supporters who made this possible!
Sincerely,
Christian Reiser
