The WTZ is there!

“Helping is strong” is the motto of Johanniter, which has been successfully teaching first aid to children in daycare centers, kindergartens, schools or youth groups for years. They are supported by the hand puppets Jona and Joni. To reinforce what has been learned, Johanniter has developed an easy-to-understand coloring and workbook with K&L Verlag, which is an essential part of a teaching package for children aged eight to eleven. We think: This is a good thing!

Therefore we support the project

The book with many pictures to color teaches girls and boys the skills to be able to give first aid in emergencies and to recognize everyday sources of danger in the home, leisure time and traffic in good time. On 36 pages, Jona and Joni tell of their experiences in the world of helping. Using child-friendly case studies, they provide tips and advice on first aid and prevention. At the same time, educators, teachers and parents can discuss and practice the illustrations with the children.

With the help of many local businesses, schools, as well as daycare centers and kindergartens in the city of Dessau-Roßlau, can request the coloring and workbooks from Johanniter free of charge. A commitment we are very happy to endorse.
