Building on the success of Hashtag#AmmoniaMot, we are now entering the next phase with Hashtag#AmmoniaMot 2.
Our goal:
➡️ Experimental demonstration of an ammonia-powered 4-stroke medium-speed engine with its associated subsystems: Fuel supply, high-pressure dual-fuel injector, safety concept and exhaust aftertreatment for a marine powertrain.
A successful starting point:
A few weeks ago, we reported here on the successful completion of the predecessor project “AmmoniaMot”. 👉https://lnkd.in/epxKB2v9
The knowledge gained there paved the way for “AmmoniaMot 2” and showed us that ammonia can be a crucial building block for the maritime energy transition.
But what would research and development be without innovative partnerships?
Only together with experts from various fields can we successfully implement such ambitious projects.
