Anyone who knows us knows that we didn’t just discover methanol yesterday.
As part of the MeOHmare project, we have already been working intensively on the question of
how this fuel can help shipping to become more climate-friendly.
Now we are following up – in the CliNeR-ECo project.
And this time we are really getting down to business: instead of examining components, we are developing specific retrofit concepts for existing engines.
Because climate protection only works if we convert the ships that are already underway.
Methanol remains the key for us – simple, storable, soot-free.
And who knows, maybe “METHANOL”, our basic retrofit concept, will soon be able to do even more: ammonia, LNG, even OME are on the horizon.
💭 And now imagine we could convert thousands of ships with it…
