@Karsten Stenzel from WTZ Roßlau was able to inspire the audience today at the Zero Emission Shipping Symposium in Hamburg #ZESS24.
His presentation on the #AmmoniaMot project showed what is possible when innovation and sustainability come together:
✅ ≈ 95% ammonia energy utilization – almost diesel-independent!
✅ ≥80% greenhouse gas reduction – a huge step towards climate neutrality!
✅ Diesel-like efficiency and engine performance
✅ Minimal nitrous oxide emissions (<25 ppm)
✅ Ammonia-NOx ratio (ANR ≤1) – guarantee for simple exhaust gas aftertreatment!
✅ High combustion stability
