Procurement of 3D-CFD simulation software for calculating combustion processes
Project description
In a research and development project funded by the state of Saxony-Anhalt with the short name of “AVL fire software license”, 3D SFC software has been procured which will make it possible to simulate the injection, mixture formation, combustion and pollutant generation of modern combustion engines. A development tool will therefore be available to WTZ Roßlau gGmbH with which a better understanding of the processes in the combustion chamber can be obtained, particularly in the case of innovative combustion procedures.
