Procurement of 3D CFD simulation software for calculating combustion processes
Project description
As part of a research and development project funded by the state of Saxony-Anhalt and known as “AVL Fire Software License,” 3D CFD software was acquired to enable the simulation of fuel injection, mixture formation, combustion, and pollutant formation in modern internal combustion engines. This provides WTZ Roßlau gGmbH with a development tool to gain a better understanding of the processes in the combustion chamber, particularly in the context of innovative combustion processes.
